Course objectives

The Master’s degree aims to stimulate the production of knowledge in the field of Public Law, as well as to train people capable of having autonomy and independence of action in the field of Public Law.

It also aims to develop skills in the production and transmission of knowledge in law, in view of the advances of didactic and pedagogical conceptions and research methodologies. 

Finally, the Master’s degree aims to train qualified professionals in analysis of greater scope and depth in the resolution of problems related to public law. 

WCU intends to train Masters with a critical spirit, capable of using the theoretical and practical instruments of law and its various branches, as well as showing efficient solutions for the analysis of concrete cases of public law.

Master’s graduates should:

 

  1. Demonstrate basic skills and analytical skills.
  2. Be able to present ideas and conclusions in an oral and written way, in a way comprehensible to others.
  3. Have an integrative vision, enabling the understanding of the structure and functioning of the field of knowledge of public law and other branches of law.

 

With these characteristics, the profile of the trainee is based on a broad legal training enabling the development of his/her professional skills and skills supported by a perception based on the strategic area covered.

Target Audience

  1. Professionals of higher education in law, economics or any other area, public servants in the federal, state and municipal spheres, the executive, legislative and judicial branches and the Public Prosecutor’s Office and career candidates in public administration.

Guidelines and Defense of the Dissertation:

The student will have guidance from a phD teacher during the project, research and writing of the dissertation.

The student will submit his dissertation for qualification, being approved will be scheduled defense that will be online for a bank of doctors.

National Tax System and Taxes in Kind

Tax principles of constitutional hierarchy. Organizational structure of the national tax administration. Public Treasury in court and the new CPC. Tax jurisdiction of federal entities. Species of competence. The national tax code. Taxes in kind: taxes, fees, improvement contribution, compulsory loans and special contributions.

Tax Administrative Process
